Lalande de Pomerol
Fleur de Boüard
Fleur de Boüard
Bordeaux, France
According to Robert Parker: "Reference point wines for the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, the 2007 La Fleur de Bouard (80% Merlot and the rest mostly Cabernet Franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon) exhibits abundant notes of caramelized black cherries, licorice, mocha, and berry fruit in a lush, medium to full-bodied, richly fruity style. It is meant to be consumed over the next 4-5 years."
According to the Wine Spectator: "Complex aromas of blackberry, milk chocolate and toasty oak lead through to a medium body, with soft, silky tannins and a medium finish. Balanced and generous for the vintage. Drink now."
Our notes - Nice nose and sweet fruit. Lovely. At the property: Tons of red fruit, lush, full-flavored wine. Rich, but balanced. Tastes great right now. 35 hectoliters per hectare.
