Nicely surprised by the suppleness and smoothness of this 2018 Petit Bocq. It has an expressive nose of cedar, black cherries, cassis, minty chocolate, licorice and clove. Med to full-bodied and very smooth on the palate with blueberries, plums and violets. Fresh and energetic with non-distracting firm grip and tannins in the herbal, even minty ending. Good management here to offer great value.
